There’s a bus that runs between San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. It doesn’t follow a schedule; it doesn’t stop at bus stops. You just stand and wave when you see it. The bus runs every 15 minutes or so. "It just comes when it comes, señor. No worries, señorita."

Of course, you don’t really need a bus to get around. Your resort is centrally located, just three miles from the quieter of the two Cabos, San José del Cabo. With tree-lined boulevards and 18th-century buildings, the town maintains the air of a quaint Mexican village.

Cabo San Lucas is just 20 miles away and has all the activities you’d expect to find at a world-class resort destination—from parasailing to superb sport fishing to a rambunctious nightlife. And don’t forget the miles and miles of sandy beaches just begging to be walked.

Back at the resort, you’ll find a concierge staff, rental car desk—should you want to forego the bus—an incredible pool complex with a swim-up bar, and, of course, Restaurant Mama Mia with an ocean view and live music nightly. It’s the no-hassle destination, full of color and culture. And your resort is muy bueno!

Note: There is no swimming at the resort beach due to a dangerous undertow. The nearest swimming beach is five miles away and can be reached by bus, taxi or rental car.

Effective Jan. 8, 2007, for all air travel between the United States and Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean, the U.S. State Department will require all persons to present a valid U.S. passport, Air NEXUS card, or U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Document. As early as Jan. 1, 2008, this policy may be extended to land and sea travel.

Raven Golf Club
The Raven Golf Club offers a challenging 18-hole course, which incorporates the natural desert beauty of the region while serving as a natural habitat for local flora and fauna. Located a few minutes east of Cabo San Lucas.

Palmilla Golf Course
This Jack Nicklaus signature designed 27-hole course is set against a backdrop of desert and sea. Near Cabo San Lucas.

Medano Beach
Located on the east side of the bay is the best beach for safe swimming. This popular beach area is lined with restaurants and bars for convenience refreshments. It’s also simple to catch a water taxi to Lands End from here—but expect to get your feet wet doing it.
