Resort Overview
Nestled in the foothills of Arizona’s Camelback Mountain, the Scottsdale Camelback Resort is a picture-perfect destination. And if you’re coming for golf, you’re definitely in the right place.

In 2006, the Robb Report cited the city as “America’s Best Place to Live for Golf.” Scottsdale is home to more than 200 area courses offering layouts that range from the rolling green fairways of traditional courses to desert golf designs.

But even if you’re not an avid golfer, you’ll find plenty to do, whether it’s shopping for Southwestern artwork or jewelry or just relaxing in the desert sun.

Please note: This destination requires a seven night stay, the payment of an exchange fee, and can only be reserved by calling the Vacation Planning Center at 1-800-457-0103.
Popular Attractions

Taliesin West
Great American architect Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959) lived at Taliesin West in Scottsdale—his winter home and school—from 1937 to 1959. Guided tours are required to view the home and grounds, and a wide range of tours are offered to meet individual interests.

Old Town Scottsdale
Scottsdale’s art district—or “Old Town”—is home to a high concentration of galleries showcasing some of the best Western and Southwestern art in the country. Throughout the area, shopkeepers sell quality Native American crafts—everything from Navajo rugs to Zuni silver jewelry.

Red Rock State Park
A drive 123 miles north from your resort will bring you to Red Rock State Park. South of Sedona, this family-friendly park offers a 5-mile interconnected loop of trails with a total elevation gain of only 300 feet. Behold the blazing vistas of red rock under Arizona’s fabled sun or lounge along the lush green banks of Oak Creek. Pick up several published trail guides at the visitor center desk, and don’t miss the ethno-botany guide, which explains traditional uses of plants along the Kisva Trail.
