Lodging Taxes in Effect at Washington State Resorts
Following a recent audit by the Washington State Department of Revenue, WorldMark received notice that stays at our 10 Washington State resorts are subject to a state lodging tax. The rates vary based on unit size and resort location, and will be assessed on all credit and rental reservations that are confirmed or modified on or after July 1, 2014. As of that date, applicable lodging taxes will be collected in full at the time of booking at WorldMark Seattle The Camlin, WorldMark Leavenworth, WorldMark Lake Chelan Shores, WorldMark Chelan Lake House, WorldMark Deer Harbor, WorldMark Birch Bay, WorldMark Discovery Bay, WorldMark Surfside Inn, WorldMark Long Beach and WorldMark Mariner Village.

Reservations at WorldMark Seattle The Camlin are also subject to the Convention and Trade Center tax. This is an additional fee imposed on stays of less than 30 nights at all lodging facilities of 60 or more units within the Seattle city limits.

Please note that WorldMark does not retain any portion of these taxes. We simply collect these monies on behalf of the state of Washington. The rates are determined by the state of Washington and are subject to change at any time.

For information on rates for a specific resort, please refer to the Tax Information sheet in the Online Reference Library.
