Starting Family Traditions with WorldMark®
In December 2009, Shirley and Dick Valeos and their son Shawn Valeos and his family, took a trip to The Canadian and were transported into a winter wonderland of lights at the Bright Nights festival held daily between Nov. 30 and Jan. 3, in Vancouver’s Stanley Park. The family was enchanted by animated forest displays, lit with more than a million tiny lights. This event, complete with a children’s farmyard, food, miniature train and entertainment is a holiday celebration not to be missed.
“We booked two rooms last year for us, our son, Shawn, our daughter-in-law, Sarah and our grandchild Cody. We had such a good time that Sarah thought we should start a family tradition — something our grandkids would be able to remember over the years. We agreed and booked The Canadian again for December 2010. This year her parents will be joining us for the day so we will have two sets of grandparents along with a new grandchild, Connor, joining us for the Bright Nights festival.
“Knowing we would need multiple units this year, Vacation Planning Counselor, Jennifer Staley, told us about the Vacation Stimulus Program which allows us to book any resort using cash instead of all of our credits. She was incredibly helpful and we are looking forward to this year’s celebration.”
