Wyndham Flagstaff, located in Northern Arizona’s high country, offers you a neighborhood-style “home away from home” with a full range of resort amenities and activities. It’s easy to enjoy a wonderful stay here without even leaving the grounds. When you do head off site, you’re close to so many of the attractions that make this region such a popular vacation spot – including the Grand Canyon.
You’ll find spacious units here. Guests frequently mention our staff’s warm hospitality along with the impressive choice of amenities. With Flagstaff’s breathtaking scenery, the hiking and biking trails are always big winners: take a slow walk or a brisk bike ride – either way, you can’t beat these views. Another way to soak in the beauty is on the links. You’ll find an 18-hole championship course plus 12-acre driving range and par-3 chip-and-putt course amid lakeside and mountain vistas. Splashing fun comes in two varieties: the fitness pool at the on-site Continental Country Club, and the family/kids pool at Bear Paw Activities Center. If you enjoy tennis, the courts are lit for evening play. It’s fun to mingle with fellow owners at our resort-hosted activities. Kids will love the PlayStation game station and you may appreciate the complimentary Internet access as well. When appetites beckon, you’ll find Starbucks coffee and other tasty treats at the Bear Paw Activities Center – plus relaxing meals and cocktails at Jotini’s on the Green.
Look for excellent snow skiing in winter at Arizona Snowbowl, plus stunning Grand Canon views all year long. Head to downtown Flagstaff for quirky fun along famous Route 66. The area offers many cultural delights: at the Museum of Northern Arizona, Lowell Observatory, Pioneer’s Historical Museum, plus much more. The Petrified Forest is a definite must-see; it’s adjacent to the Painted Desert.

Grand Canyon National Park
A natural setting whose reputation is matched by few others, the Canyon comprises two rims, the North and the South, the latter of which is 80 miles northwest of Flagstaff via 180; either afford you an unmistakable look back in time through stone. We’re talking millennia, here, of the Colorado River winding its way deep into the Colorado Plateau.
Just 35 miles east of Flagstaff on Interstate 40 remains evidence, which you can see, that something very heavy hurtled from outer space at about 40,000 miles per hour and landed in the high desert of Northern Arizona. The explosion was greater than 20 million tons of TNT going off, and it created a crater 700 feet deep, 4,000 feet across and 2.4 miles in circumference. If invaders from space thrill you, Meteor Crater will, too.
Vertical Relief Climbing Center
Experience thrills with this customized rock-climbing adventure to make your vacation extraordinary!
The Lowell Observatory is active in research and welcomes visitors year-round for tours and telescope viewing. Guided tours take visitors to the classic 24-inch refracting telescope built in 1896,and through the historic Rotunda Museum.
Museum of Northern Arizona
Now celebrating its 80th year, MNA is one of the great regional museums of our world in one of Earth’s most spectacular landscapes. The museum and its nine exhibit galleries evoke the very spirit of the Colorado Plateau and its richly diverse Native cultures, natural sciences, ecology and fine arts.
