Resort Overview

Before entering the WorldMark network, The Camlin had a long and distinguished history in downtown Seattle. It was first built in 1926 as a residential hotel and was updated in 1962; over the years many celebrities passed through its elegant lobby and spent time in the lounge that once filled the top floor. Meticulous effort has gone into retaining the charm that once made the building a beloved fixture in downtown Seattle while bringing in modern comforts to make your stay at this urban resort memorable.

The resort is located across the street from the Washington State Convention Center and Paramount Theatre. It is just steps away from Seattle’s vibrant 6th and Pine shopping district. You’ll find world-class dining options plus all of the attractions of Seattle close at hand: the lively Pike Place Market, Seattle Center and the Space Needle, Safeco Field and the fabulous waterfront are all easily accessible.

Helpful Hints
  • Parking options at this resort are valet (around $28 a day) or self-park (around $21 a day which is 1.5 blocks from the resort).
  • Take advantage of the 13 month booking window as this resort fills quickly through-out the year.

Space Needle
Take in a 360-degree view of the Emerald City on the observation deck of the Space Needle. Or enjoy a sumptuous meal at the rotating SkyCity restaurant. Observation deck, open 9 a.m.-11 p.m. Sun.-Thurs., and 9 a.m.-midnight Fri. and Sat. 1¼ mi.

Pike Place Market
One of the most famous marketplaces in the world, the Pike Place Market features a collection of day stalls where you can purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish and crafts. Open year round, seven days per week, except for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. 1 mi.

Bill Speidel’s Underground Tour
Journey under the streets and sidewalks of the Emerald City on a guided tour of the subterranean passages that once were the main roadways and first-floor storefronts of old downtown Seattle. For more information, call (206) 682-4646. 1 mi.

Seattle Waterfront
Seattle has one of the most magnificent, awe-inspiring seaports in the world. Highlights along the waterfront include Seattle Aquarium, Myrtle Edwards Park, Olympic Sculpture Park, two cruise ship docks, the Washington State Ferry terminal, docks for Argosy Cruises and the Victoria Clipper, arcades, restaurants, shopping, bike paths, fishing piers, and a spectacular view of Puget Sound. 1.4 miles.

Seattle Aquarium
The Seattle Aquarium provides fun and exciting ways to see, touch and explore the underwater world of the northwest and beyond. Aquarium highlights include the Window on Washington Waters, a 120,000 gallon tank holding sea creatures from the coast of Washington, two large touch tidepool tanks, Life of a Drifter tanks featuring jellyfish and the Giant Pacific Octopus, harbor seals, sea otters, and the 400,000 gallon inverted Underwater Dome, showing sea life found while diving in Puget Sound. 1.4 miles.

Resort Parking
There is no free parking at WorldMark Seattle - The Camlin. Owners may choose to self park at a nearby covered garage for around $21 or valet park for around $28. Both valet and self park offer in and out privileges. Parking is good until 4 p.m. the following day. Please contact the Front Desk with questions. Valet and self park cannot accommodate RVs/trailers/boats and vehicles that are taller than 7 feet 2 inches.
Pool & Hot Tub Information
The pool and hot tub are open year round. The pool hours are from 8AM – 10PM. The first and last hours of the day are reserved for adult swim. There are no lifeguards on duty. Please refer to posted pool signage for more specific information.
