2010 Winter Olympics Special Reservation Policy
Are you ready to book for the 2010 Winter Olympics? To allow the greatest number of owners the opportunity to enjoy this once in a lifetime event, the WorldMark Board has adopted a special event booking policy for reservations into WorldMark Cascade Lodge, WorldMark Sundance, WorldMark Vancouver - The Canadian, WorldMark Victoria and WorldMark Birch Bay. Any reservation at these resorts that includes a night between Feb. 12 and Feb. 28, 2010, is subject to a maximum 16 night reservation restriction.
The 16 nights is per owner regardless of the number of credits owned, the number of contracts owned or the number of names on the contract. Grouped reservations at multiple resorts are allowed remembering that every night of the grouped reservation counts toward the 16 night maximum if any of the segments touch the affected dates and resorts.
The opening ceremonies on Friday, Feb. 12, 2010 make Jan. 12, 2009 the official 13 month booking window date. However, we anticipate that owners will book with arrival dates prior to the first day of the Olympics. Online booking will be disabled for these dates at these resorts as of Dec. 25, 2008 and you must call the Vacation Planning Center to book an Olympic unit. Time will be of the essence in booking into these highly demanded units. There are a limited number and they will book very quickly. We recommend that you read over and understand the 2010 Winter Olympics Special Reservation Policy to make sure that when you do call to book – your request is in compliance so that, if available, your reservation can be confirmed quickly and easily.
